Ingredients
4 servings
- 4 tart apples
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 150 g plain flour
- 50 g rolled oats
- 80 g brown sugar
- 100 g coconut oil
- 1 pinch salt
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F) top/bottom heat and prepare a baking dish (approx. 20x20 cm).
- Peel, core, and cut the apples into approximately 1 cm cubes. Mix the apple cubes in the baking dish with 2 tbsp sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice, then spread evenly.
- For the crumble topping, combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add the solid coconut oil in small pieces.
- Work the ingredients with your hands to form a crumbly topping. Distribute the crumble evenly over the apples.
- Bake the apple crumble in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and crispy and the apples are soft.
