Ingredients
10 servings
- 200 g dark chocolate (55% cocoa)
- 150 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 4 pc egg (medium)
- 100 g wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 100 g milk chocolate couverture (for the glaze)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 170 °C (top/bottom heat) and line a 24 cm springform pan with parchment paper.
- Gently melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, then let it cool down slightly.
- Whisk the sugar and eggs in a bowl using a mixer until light, thick, and significantly increased in volume.
- Slowly pour the melted chocolate-butter mixture into the egg mixture while stirring continuously.
- Mix and sift the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, then quickly fold into the batter using a spatula.
- Pour into the pan, bake for 30-35 minutes (the core should remain slightly fudgy), and coat with melted couverture once cooled.
